The Integrated Encyclopedia of the Qur’an (IEQ) is a unique and authoritative reference work that presents a comprehensive study of the Qur’an based entirely on fourteen centuries of Muslim scholarship. Edited by Muzaffar Iqbal, this multi-volume encyclopedia offers in-depth insights into Qur’anic concepts, themes, and linguistic analysis while maintaining a purely Islamic scholarly perspective. Unlike other encyclopedias, IEQ avoids orientalist interpretations and instead draws from classical and contemporary Islamic sources. The first volume was published in 2013, followed by the second in 2024, with future volumes in progress. A valuable resource for scholars, researchers, and students of Islamic studies, IEQ serves as a bridge connecting the intellectual traditions of the past with the academic needs of the present.

This ground-breaking exploration of some of the most fundamental questions in the Islam and science discourse, explores the process of appropriation and transformation of the Islamic scientific tradition in Europe during the three centuries leading up to the Scientific Revolution.
Studies in the Islam and Science Nexus Recent studies in the history of science in Islamic civilization are based on the discovery and study of new primary texts and instruments. This 4-volume series presents the most important works in the field, which have substantially revised the views of nineteenth-century historians of science. Taken together, these four volumes cover a whole range of issues in ground-breaking studies; they also shed new light on the ongoing academic debate surrounding the question of the decline of Islamic scientific tradition. First published by Ashgate in 2012, all four volumes were re-issued by Routledge in 2016.

Science and Islam provides a detailed account of the relationship between Islam and science from the emergence of the Islamic scientific tradition in the eighth century to the present time. This relationship has gone through three distinct phases. The first phase began with the emergence of science in the Islamic civilization in the eighth century and ended with the rise of modern science in the West; the second period is characterized by the arrival of modern science in the Muslim world, most of which at that time was under colonial occupation; and the third period, which began around 1950, is characterized by a more mature approach to the major questions that modern science has posed for all religious traditions.
